Hot porridge is a wonderfully warming way to start your day. Try our apple pie flavour, which is so easy to make.

Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 3 cups milk
- 1-2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 cup sultanas
- 1 apple, diced
- 1/4 cup cashews
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a medium pot
- Cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon until mixture begins to bubble and thicken (about 6 minutes)
- Enjoy warm

Try using different fruits, nuts, chia seeds or shredded coconut in this recipe
Leftover porridge? Pop it in the fridge and add some extra milk and reheat in the pan or microwave later, or add a little milk and an egg and turn it into pancakes!
