These banana ice creams are just what you need to cool down in the summer, or just as a sweet snack or dessert any time of the year!

Prep: 10 mins  Cook time: Freeze overnight

Ingredients

Base

  • 3 bananas
  • icy-pole sticks

Topping ideas

  • fresh orange juice
  • plain yoghurt
  • melted dark chocolate
  • melted peanut butter
  • shreaded coconut
  • crushed peanuts

 

Directions

  1. Half bananas
  2. Insert icy-pole stick
  3. Leave banana plain or roll in orange juice or yoghurt or dizzle with melted chocolate or peanut butter
  4. Roll in extra toppings if you like; try shreaded cooconut or crushed peanuts
  5. Place on a tray lined with baking paper and freeze overnight
  6. Remove from freezer 5 minutes before serving
