Directions

  1. Turn on toasted sandwich maker (if you don’t have one you can fry these in a saucepan or grill in the oven)
  2. Prepare ingredients you want to use
  3. Take a slice of bread and add a spread of your choice
  4. Add some meat/fish/eggs and veggie toppings
  5. Top with bread
  6.  Place in toasted sandwich maker for 3 minutes or until toasted to your liking

Notes

For a crunchier outside, spread a little butter or olive oil on the outside of the bread before toasting.

Have a salad or frozen veg (steamed or microwaved) on the side.

Try using a mountain bread wrap or tortilla instead to make a toasted wrap or quesadilla.

This recipe is great for using up any leftovers in the fridge.

Use any fillings you like.
