Need inspiration for a new quick, easy and simple recipe for breakfast or a snack? This strawberries, mango and silken tofu smoothie is the answer! If you are hesitant about adding silken tofu to your smoothie, then don’t be. The silken tofu does not affect the taste of the smoothie, rather will just add protein and a creamy texture making this smoothie even more amazing!

Makes: 500 ml (serves 2)
Prep: 5  mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup of soy milk (or milk of your choice)
  • 1/2 cup of silken tofu
  • 1/2 cup of frozen mango
  • 6 medium strawberries
  • 12 pitted dates
  • 1/4 cup of rolled oats

      Directions

      1. Wash strawberries and cut the tops off
      2. Place strawberries and mango in a nutribullet or blender
      3. Add in the remaining ingredients into the nutribullet or blender and place top onto the device
      4. Blend all ingredients until smooth and well combined (around 1 minute)

      Notes

      Add a few cubes of ice to this blend if you want it colder

      If you prefer, you can use water instead of milk

      When in season, try using green grapes in place of mango

      Try using any fruits you like
